Since graduating from the University of Auckland in 2008 I have gained extensive experience in residential, commercial and civic architecture working in leading practices in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I worked as an Associate in an award-winning London based international practice. One of my recent projects received an NLA Award and was selected as a Regional Finalist in the 2016 Civic Trust Awards. Whilst overseas I also completed postgraduate studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and was awarded the Ross Jamieson Prize for Top of School. I returned to New Zealand in late 2017 and started a new studio, Sloane & Peach.
This penthouse apartment is an example of several high-end office to residential conversions I undertook for my client on their historic, listed building stock in Covent Garden, London. I was project lead and designer for both the interior design and architectural components of these projects. The various projects generally included retail at basement and ground floor levels with residential three or four storeys above ground. Photo Credit PDP London.
