Spektrum Arkitekter is a young architectural studio whose work integrates architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and citizen involvement. They place the users centrally in their architecture through inclusion, social awareness and commitment, striving for an architecture based upon qualities of the specific location. The common denominator in all the company’s projects is the relationship between architecture and context - landscape, people, history, culture, social relations etc.
Spektrum Arkitekter have an extensive portfolio of work, and incredibly valuable knowledge and experience that they will be sharing whilst in New Zealand. This informal breakfast and presentation provides an opportunity to learn more about Sofie, Joan and Spektrum Arkitekter.
You can hear the RNZ interview with Sofie Willems and Joan Raun Nielsen by Eva radich on the Upbeat programme, 1 Feb 2016.
This event is made possible by the generous support of Moller Architects, the Danish Art Foundation, the Auckland Branch of the NZIA and Biz Dojo Auckland.
