Auckland

In May 2013 I established my Architecture practice, Felicity Brenchley Architects, focusing on residential projects. In 2014 I was awarded the NZ House & Garden Interior of the year award, Kitchen and Supreme winner, for the kitchen in my own home. In 2014 I also became a co-founder of ĀKAU, a social enterprise that empowers youth by engaging them in the design of real projects and products. We collaborate with youth designers on our programme to develop innovative solutions for our clients. I have 15 years experience in professional practice and I am a Registered Architect in New Zealand and Victoria, Australia. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Auckland and Masters degree in Architecture from RMIT University in Melbourne. My design thesis focused on issues of housing affordability and increasing densities in our cities, two things that are of key concern in Auckland today.
