I completed my M. Arch (Prof.) at Victoria University in September 2011 and now work for Brewer Davidson Architects. My projects at BDA have included the first Certified Passive House in Christchurch, Birkdale North Special Needs Unit, Springpark Residential Development and Southbrook and Clayton Park Primary Schools. Whilst studying I worked as a research assistant and was involved in projects investigating energy usage and the sustainable design and post occupancy evaluation of commercial buildings. My masters thesis investigated the history of stairs, their design potential in contemporary residential architecture and the process of design. I love to learn; I also hold a B.A (Hons.) in Jewellery and Silversmithing, from which I developed a great love for and interest in materials, and a Bachelor of Computing Systems degree.
