I’m an architect and associate at Athfield Architects, I grew up in Christchurch and graduated from Auckland University. I have over 10 years of architectural design experience, including working in Auckland, New York, and volunteering at a humanitarian architecture charity in London. My experience with Architecture + Women NZ started in 2017, where I was the liaison between NZIA Canterbury Branch and the local A+W chapter. Over the years I have moved more of my volunteering energy to A+W. I have organised meetings, events, workshops and public talks to strengthen the local A+W community in Christchurch. My goal as co-chair is to continue the fantastic work the A+W team has done with integrity to the vision. My mission is to advocate for diversity, equity, research and continue to build a resilient community.

Project Title
Chen Anselmi Units
In collaboration with Paul Anselmi, BOS - Simple planning enables a vibrancy of living in what would be best described as suburban mediocrity. Spaces for compression and expansion, dark and light, inside and outside, and most importantly vibrancy and sensuality. Lots of in built furniture, enables the use of internal colour to be as free as the habitants within. Winner of 2019 Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZIA National Awards.
