A+W-NZ Wellington Archi Tour 2017

7 April 2017

The A+W•NZ Wellington Archi-Tour on Saturday 22 April was a well attended and enjoyable day - with a good variety of architecture not only in typology but also in the personality and character of the architects and their presentations. The afternoon started at 1pm with the Hall of Memories, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park (Culture + Heritage), by Lianne Cox, SPA. At 2pm the group went to the Wellington Airport Terminal South Extension (Commercial), by Katherine Skipper, WAM, and the day was completed at  the Harbour View Rd House, Northland (Residential), by Deborah Cranko. The bus dropped everyone back to Courtney Place at 4:30pm, after an interesting afternoon of architecture. Scroll to the base of the page for photos of the day.

A+W•NZ Wellington invites you on a tour to 3 buildings designed by local female architects. Join us as we are guided by the project architects through a diverse range of architecture - learn about the proposals, design decisions and the impact on its built environment. Limited spots on the bus – so book quick.
