We are proud to continue our partnership with Dulux New Zealand to give our Wellington members a chance to tour the Dulux factory!

Following on from the success of the A+W 'Kitchen Talk' at Blum's showroom in Tāmaki Makaurau in April we will be holding an event at Blum's showroom in Ōtautahi Christchurch on 27th July.

A+W NZ members and registered Architects Raphaela Rose, Ysabelle Empiso and Maggie Xu shared their thoughts and experiences from gaining professional registration and career progression.

A+W NZ is running a two-part event on Saturday 20th May as part of the New Zealand Women in Architecture WikiProject.

The A+W NZ 2023 AGM will be held on Wednesday 3 May 2023, at 6pm, at Walker Group Architects, Kauri Timber Building, 104 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010.

Incoming A+W Co-chair Gina Hochstein will be giving a talk that looks at the evolution of the kitchen over the last 100 years and how the kitchen has become a space of democratisation. Drinks & nibbles provided.

The second in our A+W NZ Fathers' Forum series was held on Tuesday 6 December 2022, at the AUT Building WZ Lobby 1 (Ground Level, St Pauls St).

Architecture + Women NZ in collaboration with Architectus hosted a Speed Mentoring evening in Ōtautahi Christchurch on Thursday 27th October. This is the tenth A+W NZ Speed Mentoring event in our unique series.

The third and final book launch for Elizabeth Cox's Making Space book was held on Wednesday, 26 October 2022, 5:30 pm, in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington in the atrium space at the School of Architecture, Victoria University Te Herenga Waka.

The second launching of Elizabeth Cox's Making Space book was held on Friday 21 October, 5:30pm, in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

On Sunday 16 October, 5:30pm, the launch of Elizabeth Cox's Making Space book was held at the Auckland Art Gallery.

Architecture + Women NZ, in collaboration with Architectus hosted a Speed Mentoring evening in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on Thursday 13th October.

The A+W NZ Timeline is on the move again - travelling to Nelson next month, exhibiting at Refinery Artspace from 29 August to 24 September 2022.

The A+W NZ Timeline was opened in Nelson on Monday 29 August, 5:30pm at the Refinery Artspace on Hardy Street.

A+W NZ has two concurrent exhibitions on at Refinery ArtSpace in Nelson - the A+W NZ Tātuhi Drawing Architecture: Sarah Treadwell Archive, and the A+W NZ Timeline.
