Directed by Yael Melamede, the film tells the story of her mother, renowned architect Ada Karmi‑Melamede. It follows Ada’s journey from 1970s New York—where she juggled teaching, major urban design projects, and raising three children—to her bold decision to leave the city, and her family, to design Israel’s Supreme Court. Through intimate storytelling, the film explores the tension between career and motherhood, the personal cost of ambition, and the unique bond between a mother and daughter shaped by a life in architecture.
