A+W NZ Becomes an Incorporated Society

On 11 November 2012, cake and champagne was shared to celebrate the signing of documents officially recognising the A+W group as an Incorprated Society. This cements the non-profit organisation status and enables us to set in motion some of the long-term goals of A+W•NZ - such as establishing an awards system and a scholarship fund.

The database membership continues to grow at a steady pace and analysis of the web traffic shows that the website is accessed from all over the globe, with high traffic volumes. The A+W•NZ Facebook page has members from many countries, interested in the work and issues of architects in New Zealand. What a simple and exciting way to raise the visibilty levels of women trained in architecture.
