DIVERSE PRACTICE: Symposium
A conversation on Diverse Practice as part of the series, in association with Architecture+Women NZ.
For the symposium five speakers were invited respond and talk to specific questions from the survey about diverse practice. This is from a student perspective - through to established practitioners – which speaks more directly to the challenges of practice experienced by women. The session will be concluded by a panel discussion chaired by Justine Clark.
5.30-6.00 pm - Exhibition Opening at VUW school of architecture. Celebration with drinks and nibbles
6.00 -8.00pm - Conversation on Diverse Practice
If you could share one insight about architecture with a female graduate entering the profession what would it be?
What do you think the future of architectural practice is/should be?
What do you think women bring to the profession?
Reflecting on these questions, four Wellington woman architects that represent three generations will share their thoughts and work, followed by a panel discussion chaired by Justine Clark.
