Last year an equal number of women and men graduated from New Zealand’s architecture schools. In the nineties women comprised a third of all architecture graduates. However, in 2013 the number of women at senior levels of larger architectural practices remains low. Tommy Honey, Dean of College, Whitecliffe College of Art and Design, will MC the discussion. A diverse panel, both male and female, architects and other disciplines will bring their experience, opinions and a good sense of humour to the table to discuss the complexities and potential strategies to tackle architecture, gender and equality.
