Translation and Continuity of Tradition - an ongoing dialogue in Aotearoa
Co-authored with Renata Jadresin-Milic (Senior Lecture at Unitec School of Architecture), Translation and Continuity of Tradition - an ongoing dialogue in Aotearoa, is a research paper written for publication in the Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism, 2021. In it, we observe the architectural beginnings of Aotearoa NZ and take a note of the unique characteristics of our traditional craft as well as its ongoing application. It was a learning exercise driven by personal and professional curiosity as well as an overwhelming want for understanding of my second home.
