Katrina Nielsen
I am an organised, hard-working, and resilient Masters student of architecture and heritage conservation at the University of Auckland. I have 2+ years of experience collaborating on high-end residential spaces that balance form, function, and sustainability. I am interested in neuroarchitecture and designing spaces that are focused on the health and wellbeing of the people who inhabit them. I am a quick-learner and work well with others. I have a passion for all things creative: drawing, sculpting, singing, dancing, poetry, and jewelry-making. My hobbies give me other perspectives on seeing the world which I aim to bring to my work.
Looking For a Mentor
I'm looking for a mentor who is passionate, experienced, and open-minded. Ideally, someone who values experimentation, thoughtful critique, and real-world application, and can challenge and guide me as I grow creatively and professionally. I’d love to learn about your personal design processes, gain insights into the industry, and have honest conversations about navigating a meaningful career in architecture.
