I am a UK architectural graduate registered on part 1 of the RIBA register, I have a first class Bachelor of Design honours degree and in my graduating year won the Royal Society of Art student design award. In the UK I worked for 2 years with GWK Architects in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne on a secondary school, a literature museums and a small theatre. I moved to NZ and worked with Jasmax for 8 years as an architectural graduate. I worked on a wide variety of commercial projects including Wynyard Quarter urban masterplanning, residential projects and a number of healthcare facilities.
Looking For a Mentor
I have had 10 years away from commercial architecture to look after my children. During that time I worked part-time on residential interiors but am now looking to resume my commercial career and return to design-led projects, contribute to a great team environment and participate in the creation of a stimulating, exciting and valuable built environment. I'm looking for a mentor who can guide me as to how to refresh and update my skills in order to get back into the industry.
