I graduated from Victoria University Wellington School of Architecture in 2002. I have been working at Dalman Architecture in Christchurch since 2003. Dalman Architecture supported me to gain my NZRAB Registration in 2007. I have recently been made the first female Associate of Dalman Architecture.

Transpower Building
A new office building for Transpower adjoining their existing Regional Operations Centre. The brief was a 'smart, simple and cost effective' office building for 50 staff. The aim was to bring the administration and operations staff together in one complex. The old and new buildings are joined by a cafeteria space which opens onto a sheltered courtyard and forms the social hub of the complex. The interior is largely open plan with separate meeting spaces and project rooms. The main structure is LVL and the interior makes extensive use of plywood in the joinery and ceilings to lend warmth to the interiors. Blocks of bright colour to the walls and floors were an inexpensive way to bring interest and vibrancy to the interiors.
