I am a third year architecture student at the University of Auckland. I moved to the city at the start of my degree from a small farm in the Waikato. I am enjoying the change in life style that the energy of the city provides.
I was interested in architecture, with the intention of becoming an architect form a young age. I love the tangibility of architecture and am especially interested in how space can be manipulated through materials and play of light.
I find the problem solving aspect the designing involves particularly rewarding. I am really excited to see where this takes architecture in the future and the role that sustainability will play in this.
