I am currently studying towards a PG Dip at AUT in Spatial design. Prior to this I have had many professional incarnations as a performer, documentary researcher, directors assistant and project manager. Since 2010 I have been an active collaborator with Cut Collective. My key role has been working alongside other members of the Creative Industry sector to develop projects that enhance community engagement.
I am interested in designing projects where art and ecology as an intermediary to evoke community engagement. By searching for "Oikos”, I will explore the idea of space as both a vessel to hold memory and also a place that evokes the creation of memories. The aim is to exhibit an illustrated history of my personal journey to create a new ecology that feels like home .
