Available to Mentor
I would consider it a privilege to mentor any architectural students who are in their undergraduate or masters-level postgraduate studies.
I am a recent Master of Architecture (Professional) graduate from the University of Auckland and I completed my undergraduate studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Throughout my studies, I have developed specialties in community-oriented and environmentally sustainable design oriented around te Ao Māori.
My thesis, titled Recompose, Reconfigure the Resilient Marae: Kei te Tautiaki o ngā Tāngata, explored the topic of marae resilience against natural hazards.
Looking For a Mentor
I would appreciate any mentorship on the broad realm of architectural design. I am currently focused on community-orientation, Māori and Pacific architecture, and the health space, but am always looking to diversify my interests.
In the long term, I am planning on an NZRAB career pathway. I would love any advice available to me by the A+W NZ community on this topic.

Recompose, Reconfigure the Resilient Marae: Kei te Tautiaki o ngā Tāngata
My MArch(Prof) thesis, supported by QuakeCoRE Te Hiranga Rū, addresses the vulnerability of marae to natural hazards which can hinder their role as disaster relief centers for their communities.
Situated in the rohe of Ngāti Awa, I conducted an in-depth study of the landscape, socialscape, and hazardscape of the iwi towards proposing a speculative hazard resilient marae for Ngāti Awa.
