JTB Architects are seeking expressions of interest from junior accountants or business administrators.
You will be joining a highly collaborative and professionally rewarding practice which will see you working with a project team on projects ranging from $200k to $200m in value, including high-end residential, commercial, education and civic work.

You will need to be qualified with a BCom or similar and be able to work with numbers in a range of scenarios, from management accounts to project budgets and resource allocations. You will be proficient in Excel/Word/Xero to get started. We work in an AEC platform called Total Synergy for which training will be provided. Experience in Power BI and Sharepoint is an advantage but not required. The position is a full-time role.

You will be reporting to the Business Manager who has a wide and varied role, reporting to the board of directors. Tasks included in this role include
— Project programming: working with the business manager and senior project leads and directors to enter initial project programmes and budgets and maintain them as changes occur
— Accounting: assisting with management reports, invoicing and managing subconsultant fees
— Secretarial: Assisting with agendas and note taking for a variety of meetings including director meetings and committee meetings.
