Did you know?

• 48% of NZIA Members are not Architects
• 23% of new Registered Architects in 2013 were not an Institute Member
• 1,671: the number of Registered Architects in New Zealand
• 2,079: the number of Licenced Building Practitioners (Design levels, 1,2,3)
• 5% of NZIA Members live overseas
• 79% of NZIA Members are based in the North Island
• 16% of NZIA Members are based in the South Island
• 43% of NZIA Members are sole practitioners
• 47% of NZIA Members work in practices of less than 10 persons
• 2% of NZIA Members work in practices of more than 30 persons
• 27% of Registered Architects are female
• 18% of NZIA Architect Members are female
• 63% of NZIA Graduate Members are male
