Shelley Penn, the current (and outgoing) National AIA President, gave a very interesting presentation at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland on Saturday 25 May, 2013. She discussed issues of equity and diversity in architecture in Australia, and the research being undertaken ('Parlour' and Queensland University) as well as changes being made within the Institute to have positive influence on workplace culture.
