Join us for a focused and welcoming watercolour sketching session in the heart of Newmarket, hosted at Teed St Larder.

This free event is open to all experience levels ,so no prior drawing or watercolour experience is required. Our member Tamari Kiseleva will provide structured, step-by-step instruction, introducing core watercolour techniques and practical approaches to urban sketching.

You are invited to bring own watercolour paper, paints or markers, and brushes.

This session offers a choice of creative focus. You may explore architectural sketching inspired by the surrounding urban environment, or concentrate on smaller-scale observational studies such as food and detailed objects. A short introductory workshop will demonstrate techniques relevant to both approaches, after which participants may develop work independently with guidance available throughout.

The venue offers a comfortable setting within a lively urban square, providing a rich visual environment suited to both architectural and detail-based sketching.

Note: catering is not provided. Participants are welcome to purchase their own items from the café to use as sketching subjects if they wish, but this is entirely optional.

Time: 10:00 am, Saturday 14 March
Location: Teed St Larder, Newmarket
