Thank you to all our attendees who joined us for the Edit-a-thon on Saturday 20th May 2023. Sadly, the walking tour had to be cancelled due to the weather but we continued on with the edit-a-thon!
We were fortunate enough to have Marianne Riley join us in the morning to give a brief talk on the Te Ao Mārama South Atrium project and the design principles behind the 2020 refurbishment. It was also an honour to have Making Space editor Elizabeth Cox present for the edit-a-thon.
Overall the Wikiproject has been very successful, with 17 new images uploaded to Wikimedia commons, 22 new Wikidata items, and 28 new biographies/articles made including one for A+W NZ and our awards. Explore some of the new articles here.
We may be holding a follow-up event later in the year, pending interest.
