I am an artist, writer, researcher and educator, trained in architecture, landscape architecture and visual art. My research is primarily focused on architectural drawing and creative works have been acquired by various international public collections of artists’ books in the U.K, Japan, Germany, Canada and Australia. I have undertaken funded visiting artist residencies in Tokyo, London, China and NZ. My book Binding Space: The Book as Spatial Practice was published as part of the Routledge Design Research in Architecture series. I am Associate Professor in the School of Architecture and Planning, The University of Auckland, NZ.
