Raukura is a Principal at Monk Mackenzie in Tamaki Makaurau Auckland, and has designed her architectural life to allow for her expanded fields of practice to supplement her architecture. She works reduced hours to achieve as much as she does, and to ensure that excellent architecture emerges from a satisfying
work/life balance.

This is the second in a series highlighting the benefits of reduced hour working weeks, enabling Architecture in an Expanded Field. The architects and architectural graduates in this series have all consciously designed their working lives to benefit from their adjacent creative practices.
