The A+W NZ 2021 AGM was held on Wednesday 2 June 2021, 6pm, at Warren & Mahoney, 139 Pakenham Street West, Wynyard Quarter, Auckland.

The end of the year is fast approaching, A+W is hosting a get together lunch before the Christmas breaks and to celebrate the end of a very stressful year!

During Lockdown, A+W NZ set up an online meeting forum so people can come together and discuss the issues facing them — from isolation or loss of income to positive outcomes from flexible hours and working from home, your legal rights or career change options.

Our AGM was held on 27 May 2020, again as an online event.

Education in construction for architects is invaluable, and a new workshop opportunity has been developed for A+W NZ with the New Zealand Traditional BoatBuilding School.

The A+W NZ Hawkes Bay Team have set up a regular monthly meeting that focuses on re-joining the profession after a break or managing a reduced-hour working week.

The wonderful Parlour Transformations: Action on Equity Symposium was held recently in Melbourne, and A+W NZ was there.

The A+W-NZ Public Speaking Masterclass event held on 10 September 2019 at Warren & Mahoney Auckland office went very well - the turnout was great and Miriam Chancellor, President of Auckland Toastmasters, was a fantastic speaker.

A+W NZ / NZIA 'How Do You Practice?' Panel at Objectspace - In collaboration with @nzia_auckland, the “How Do You Practice” kicked off at @objectspace on Tuesday, 16 July 2019.

At the A+W NZ AGM held last night at the Warren & Mahoney Auckland office, the election of the core team roles has brought in some new faces.

On April 11th 2019 A+W Wellington hosted Women & Whiskey: Distilling the Design Process at Black Sparrow inside the Embassy Theatre.

A great evening hearing from Camia Young of OHU explaining her crowd-funded development project in Lyttleton, followed by some lively discussion.

There was a wonderful turnout to the NZIA in:situ Breakfast with Betsy Williamson (Canada), Gloria Cabral (Paraguay) & Sadie Morgan (UK), held on Friday 15 February 7-9am.

A+W NZ held our casual Xmas celebration for all the volunteers, supporters and sponsors at The Food Truck on Saturday 1st December.
